The After the Bell program is off to a great starts this year with engaging activities and many great new students. Students are enjoying the nice Fall days with recreational and educational activities. They are exploring local history through a program called New York at It’s Best taught by Scott Cunningham. In fact, students receive extra credit in their social studies class for participation in the program. Golf and team games (Brad Demass) are popular as well. Sewing class (Sandra Wilson) is going well and students are creating bags. Cooking and dance classes (Wendy Hawkinson) are fun and students are learning at the same time. Other workshops include guitar class (Tim Pauldine), Values class (Ms. Virts) and Martial Arts (M. Phu).

Field trips are taken twice a month and, so far, students have gone to ALASA Farms and bowling. Upcoming activities include a Family Open House and new Winter workshops including Mind Storms where students will design, build and program robots out of Legos.
